Breelyn is a registered planner on the cutting edge of planning policy and regulation in Canada. As a planner for the Town of High River she had the opportunity to implement Canada’s first hybrid/form-based zoning bylaw, which won national and provincial awards.
Her other significant work has included acting as the High River representative on the first Regional Plan for the Calgary Metropolitan Region, assisting on Alberta’s first provincial regional plans, and implementing zoning and policy innovations for municipalities across Alberta in her role as a consultant.
